Call for Abstracts

IWW 2029 invites researchers from academia, research institutions, and industry to contribute to the scientific programme of the International Wigner Workshop.

Abstracts presenting new theoretical, computational, numerical, or experimental results related to Wigner functions, phase-space methods, and their applications across physics, engineering, and related disciplines are welcome. Contributions may address quantum transport, quantum optics, quantum information, open quantum systems, nanoelectronics, computational physics, mathematical methods, and other areas in which Wigner-based or related phase-space approaches play a significant role.

The workshop aims to provide an interdisciplinary forum for presenting new results, discussing methodological and conceptual developments, and exchanging ideas across the diverse scientific communities working with Wigner functions and phase-space methods.

For a broader overview of the scientific scope, please visit the Topics page.

Presentation Formats

Contributions for the following presentation formats are invited:

  • oral presentations;
  • poster presentations.

Authors may indicate their preferred presentation format during submission. The final assignment to an oral or poster session will be made by the Programme Committee based on the review outcome and the structure of the scientific programme.

Important Dates

Abstract submission deadline: Friday, 26 January 2029
Notification of acceptance: Monday, 5 March 2029

Abstract Submission

Authors are asked to submit an abstract of no more than two A4 pages, including text, figures, tables, and references.
